Project Brief:
Design a unique, innovative chess style with all pieces sharing a distinctive design element.
Inspiration
The goal was to create a chess set that showed the relationship between multi-colored glass/acrylic and light.

Color Exploration
After deciding to stick with a single colored acrylic, there were options but landed on a magenta-colored acrylic for the final piece, giving it a vibrant, eye-catching finish.
Prototyping
Laser cutting was used for the final prototypes, and a rubber/silicone mold was used to produce the common components used throughout the set.
